Age: He was possibly born before Arda was created. So...think about 50,000, if not older. He's a dragon, so apparent age...idk pretty ageless for a dragon.

Gender/Sex: Male

Appearance: Ancalagon
He's a giant, black, winged dragon with four legs, two of which that double as arms. By giant, I mean he's literally bigger than mountains. He has two horns on his head and down along his spine. His red eyes are fond of glowing. For game purposes he's been shrunk to the size of Smaug.

History:
Ancalagon was bred to be the best dragon Melkor ever made. He was born before Arda was made, keeping to his maker's side and following Melkor everywhere until they settled in Middle-Earth in Angband. There he had the chance to grow from the small fire-drake to a giant beast worthy of terror.

He lived a sheltered life in Angband until he left to fight in the War of Wrath. Until they were invaded he'd kept to patrolling the borders and making certain the other dragons were reminded he was the best of them all. He ended up fighting against Eärendil and Thorondor, but after a full day of that he was thrown against Thangorodrim and died. This also marked Melkor's final resistance.

Personality:
Ancalagon is fiercely loyal to his master and creator, Melkor to the degree a child is to their parent. He's cruel, vicious, and outright mean to everyone who isn't Melkor or Mairon. His favorite pasttime, outside of making fun of his sibling dragons, is hunting and devouring orcs and elves.

He loves music (Melkor's music though), cuddling, long flights with those few he cares about, and scale scritches/grooming. Generally speaking he acts like an overly-spoiled cat whose idea of a good time is shredding, clawing, and biting, and knocking things over (except on a much larger scale that includes mauling, fire, and death).

Abilities:
Dragon - Here be dragon!
Language - He can understand and speak various languages from Arda, just no Khuzdul because icky dwarves
Immortality - Except he can be killed
Flight - He can cross large distances in little time. For game purposes he has a limit as to how far they can go - aka around 11 to 13 days worth of foot travel per day, unburdened
Fire - Very hot fire breath, hotter than any other dragon
Squish - He sits, it goes squish. He's a master of it.
Heightened senses - He can see, smell, feel, and hear everything a lot better than many other creatures
